Philadelphia Flyers vs Buffalo Sabres
Start Time: 7:30 PM EST
New York State was lucky for my bet on Tuesday, so let’s travel from Long Island up to Upstate New York tomorrow, as the Philadelphia Flyers meet the Buffalo Sabres. Both teams have gotten off to underwhelming starts, but nothing compares to the brutal first 11 games the Flyers have played.
Projected for 93.5 points heading into the year, Philadelphia is instead on pace for 52. A bad offense (29th in the NHL) and defense (28th in the league) will do that to a team. As will the extensive injury report the Flyers carry into this game in Buffalo. However, they did beat Colorado last time out, so maybe they’re turning things around?
Hopefully not, at least not tomorrow. The Sabres are the much better team, and they’re playing at home (the Flyers are 0-4-1 away from Philly this season), so Buffalo on the moneyline is my best bet for Wednesday.
