American League Championship Series Daily Dingers for Monday (Oct 19th): Best & Most Fun Home Run Bets

Cleveland Guardians vs Tampa Bay Rays

Start Time: 8:00 PM EST

We had no home runs hit in Sunday’s low-scoring Game 5, so no bets were cashed. Let’s hope some balls fly out tomorrow, as they did in Game 1 in Florida when three homers were hit. But these are not home run-hitting teams, so buyer beware.

The question we need to answer is which player (hopefully plural, “players”) will hit a ball out of the park on Monday. As has been the case, the Cleveland Guardians starting pitcher is yet to be announced (determined?), but it might be Tanner Bibee, which is good news since he’s a gopher ball pitcher. Let’s go with Yandy Diaz and Junior Caminero to take him deep, as they have before this season.

For the visitors, let’s sprinkle some money on Chase DeLauter, who homered in Game 1 in Tampa and has had a solid series.

Best Bets: Yandy Diaz (+700), Junior Caminero (+450), Chase DeLauter (+920)
