By the guys’ count the Titans are 0-5 and haven’t beaten the Colts since 2022, and nobody on NFL Picks Week 6 wanted any part of them. Tennessee visits Indianapolis, IN on Sunday, October 18 at 1:00 PM ET, and the Colts were 7-point favorites with a total of 44 when the guys taped on October 14.

Our Picks
- Ryan Kramer (@KramerCentric): Colts -7
- Sean Green (@SeanTGreen): Colts -7
Both laid it, and neither pretended to love it. The guys admitted that laying seven with a Colts defense that keeps getting carved up is not what anybody wants, and that a Titans rush defense they put 11th in the league could slow the Colts’ ground game. It’s a division dog, they granted, but taking Tennessee here was “getting incredibly cute,” and the floor they set for backing the Titans was double digits.
Then came the matchup. The Colts play a lot of zone, the guys say Cam Ward is not good against zone, and they expect the Indianapolis receivers to eat. They also pointed out that the Colts are 6-0 against the spread in the last six meetings and that most of the recent games were blowouts. Their verdict: you feel dumb laying seven with the Colts, but you’ll feel dumber betting on the Titans.
The rest of the segment was a eulogy for the Titans’ season. As the guys told it, Robert Saleh was asked at 0-4 whether his team could still make the playoffs and said anything is possible, and now they’re 0-5. Both had the Titans under 6.5 wins back in their preseason Titans preview. And Tennessee is off one of the guys’ list of teams worth taking with a lot of points, at least until Mitchell Trubisky gets the start, because the Titans are just not getting NFL quarterback play.
