Colby Dant made the case early and never wavered: he thinks Washington is a mess this year, from a locker room that’s dealt with a quarterback who tried to leave and came back to a head coach who reportedly looked at other jobs himself. “Dude, let’s lock this,” he said, and he thinks USC is going to drill them.
Sean Green pushed back with the one stat that argues the other way, that USC’s head coach has never beaten Washington’s head coach, but Colby wasn’t moved and said he didn’t care, sticking with USC.
Neither team has covered much this season. Washington hasn’t covered a game yet, and USC is 1-3 against the spread, a combined 1-7 between them. Sean joked that Washington might be due, then laid the points with USC anyway. Ryan also noted USC will be without the defender he called “horrible, evil” over a hit on an opposing quarterback.
