Colby went first. Navy fumbled late last week with a chance to win, he figures 90% of these games finish something like 17-14, and he sees Navy, with one win and that against an FCS team, as the side with its back to the wall. He also pointed out Navy won last year’s meeting by three.
Sean loves this Air Force team, but he agreed with Colby. With so few possessions, three and a half points matters a ton, and he pegged it for a 13-10 game. Falcon Stadium’s 7,000 feet is a real jump for Navy, he said, but in any service academy matchup he’s always taking the dog.
Kramer went the other way. He wasn’t going to overthink a service academy game, and once Sean needled him about loving the Navy, he was all the way on Air Force.
