Colby Dant thinks Arizona is simply the better team right now. They were right there against BYU outside of a pick-six, and they rallied in a gut-check game at Pullman last week. That, combined with the travel Cincinnati is making from the Midwest into a desert climate, made this one clean for him: lay the 7.5.
Sean Green leaned on the same setting, arguing Cincinnati has to adjust to the dry Tucson air on the road, and called Arizona due for a cover. Ryan Kramer went a step further, saying the number itself was telling him everything he needed to know, even after a similar lay-the-number bet cost him the week before.
The guys also noted Arizona is still winless against the spread this season, and Colby admitted part of him is quietly rooting for a Cincinnati win anyway, not against the number, just for the outcome, because a win would leave Cincinnati’s angry fans stuck with their coach even longer. None of that changed anyone’s actual pick.
