2026 Little League World Series Betting Odds And Preview

Most kids can swing the bat, but when it comes to fielding the ball and making a clean throw, you may have a better chance at placing $10 on a roulette wheel and choosing the correct number than correctly picking Little League World Series games.

Simpletons may ask, ‘Why do it?’ The answer: When sports are on ESPN and ESPN2 at noon or 3pm ET, there are definitely worse things to do with money.

My name is Noah Bieniek, and I’m the host of the Sports Gambling Podcast Network’s The College Baseball Experience. Luckily, I have a track record of betting on amateur baseball at the college and LLWS levels.

In 2021, Taylor North Little League (Michigan) won the LLWS. I reside just 40 minutes from Taylor and was very plugged into that team. Honolulu Little League (Hawai’i) won the LLWS in 2022, which was my pick to win in this article three years ago. El Segundo Little League (Southern California) won the LLWS in 2023. They were my pick to win the U.S. Bracket.

In 2024, I nailed one of Boerne, Texas or Lake Mary, Florida to win the LLWS Championship. Controversy aside, Florida won, and I provided a preview of their team in that year’s article.

Lastly, 2025 was one of the toughest fields to decipher. The teams from the United States were weaker than normal, and I could not find any film on the International teams. Yet, this article series still drilled the winner, Taiwan (Chinese Taipei) thanks to their power pitching staff.

Little League World Series Betting Preview

*Disclaimer: It’s extremely hard to find film and player stats for international teams.

Every year there is normally a team in the United States bracket that is relatively easy to pick because they stick out like men among boys. Most years, every team usually has a dude, but not many have multiple kids who may have had their growth spurts early. After watching a lot of the teams play in the United States Regionals, I can confidently say that this year is not like any other we have seen in recent memory. The talent is in an absurd abundance.

On the International side, I usually lean towards a returning team that gained Williamsport experience the year prior, since I can’t find game highlights for any of these teams. The LLWS experience is amazing for both the players getting used to playing in front of large crowds, media monsoons, plus massive cameras in super nice stadiums and the coaches get to better understand proper game/tournament strategy.

Japan, Canada, and the Czech Republic all feature repeat champions. Cross off the groups from Vancouver and Brno. European and Canadian teams always get outclassed by the more traditional baseball countries. Joto Little League is the interesting test to my regular International handicapping practices this year.

In 2025, Japan posted their worst record (2-2) we have seen in Williamsport during this decade. This year, the same Little League from Tokyo went 4-0 by a combined score of 51-11, very similar to their 4-0 regional record, outscoring opponents 29-6 last year. Japan should be considered a top contender on the International side, but I have cold feet.

The most unique possible story for this year’s LLWS is the possibility of West (Sweetwater Valley, SoCal) meeting Mexico (Municipal De Tijuana). Some of the kids on the Little League team based out of Bonita, California play “summer” (travel) ball with some of the kids on the Mexico representative’s roster. The ESPN broadcast during the West Regional even said that Southern California’s coaches thought about trying to schedule a scrimmage or joint-practice before the West Regional tournament.

Little League World Series Bets

+110 United States to win Little League World Series Championship

As I mentioned above, this year the U.S. is insanely stocked with star pitchers and excellent hitters playing on Little League World Series contending teams. The U.S. has won six of the last seven LLWS. For my money, this year’s 7th best U.S. squad would typically be a Top 4 contender to play for the American banner.

The American frontrunners look like the West, Southwest, Southeast, and Metro because of their explosive offenses, frontline pitching, and overall depth. With that said, the Midwest, New England, and Mountain region reps are all capable of flipping the U.S. Bracket upside down if they get a couple of clutch hits and their pitchers deal.

WEST (The U.S. Favorite)

Sweetwater Valley Little League from Bonita, (Southern) California is the rightful betting favorite. Their offensive approach is elite. The top of the West lineup has some power, and the bottom of the order features some kids that have impressive opposite-field contact swings.

Throughout the regional tournament, six players batted .400 or better with a .930 OPS or higher. In 16 Little League tournament games, Noah Kirk (cousin of Alejandro Kirk) is hitting .564, with 5 home runs, 19 RBI as a leadoff hitter, and a 1.58 ERA, 68 strikeouts, and just 9 walks, in 40 innings pitched as an ace. Isaac Ramirez Aguirre has hit 5 homers with 18 RBI in 16 games as a hitter. On the mound, Ramirez Aguirre tossed a 1-hit complete game against Hawai’i.

I want to put emphasis on this: each year the team from Southern California is on the list of very few candidates that played the toughest schedule of games just to get to Williamsport. SoCal is oozing with premier amateur baseball talent; Sweetwater Valley went 12-1 against that competition. Then they laid waste to this year’s best regional (Hawai’i x2, Northern California once, and didn’t even get to play a strong Chandler, Arizona team) by a combined score of 33-7. Furthermore, across their 16 games against this elite Little League competition, the kids from Bonita posted an astonishing 1.18 ERA, with just 11 errors. That is unheard of in amateur baseball. Sweetwater Valley is winning the 2026 Little League World Series Championship.

Southern California was hammered by early bettors and the market completely shifted before this article could even get published. If you want to bet on a Little League team at -150 to play clean defense, pitch well, and rack up runs, go ahead. I’ll point you to the +110 price that also gives you the nine other American teams.

SOUTHEAST (My Second Favorite U.S. Team)

At +600, Phenix City Youth Baseball Little League from Phenix City, Alabama is my favorite story and value play on the U.S. side of the board. This year’s Southeast region representative does everything that you want a Little League baseball team to do.

Alabama does not walk hitters (just 5 BB in 8 games), they get on base by limiting their own strikeouts with walks or hits (In four regional games, nine hitters published OBPs of .444 or better), and they don’t make mistakes in the field (besides that clunker of a game vs Florida). This consistent style of play allowed them to go 8-0 on their path to Williamsport, defeating regular powers like Nolensville, TN, Columbus, GA, and Irmo, SC.

This is Phenix City, Alabama’s first trip to Williamsport since 1999 when they won the U.S. Championship but lost to Japan in the World Championship game. Tony Rasmus was the manager and his sons Colby and Cory Rasmus were some of the stars on that Alabama team.

Get ready to #FearTheBow because Cory’s daughter, Kinley Rasmus, is 2026 Phenix City’s biggest and best player. Case Rasmus, the younger brother of Colby and Cory, is the manager of the ’26 Phenix City team. Cory is also on staff as an assistant coach. Ryker, Case’s son and Kinley’s cousin, plays on the team too, as a first baseman and pitcher.

Kinley threw an 8-strikeout, 59-pitch (48 pitches were strikes) complete game in the state championship game. Then, Rasmus dominated Nolensville in the Southeast Regional Championship game. She racked up eight more strikeouts and didn’t walk anybody in a 76-pitch (54 strikes) complete game. Oh, and Kinley Rasmus has a .647 batting average in eight Little League tournament games. She is a star and will be this year’s media darling.

Urijah Berklite is the other name to know. He has tossed 8.1 tournament innings and has punched out 12 hitters with zero walks.

Asia-Pacific (South Korea)

*Disclaimer: It’s extremely hard to find film and player stats for international teams.

The Asia-Pacific Regional tournament is always difficult to weigh the strength of competition. Rarely does New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Northern Mariana Islands, or Indonesia pose any threat in Little League baseball. West Seoul (B) Little League performed mass destruction across those teams by a combined score of 60-0. Yep, you read that correctly, 60-runs-to-zero-runs.

However, Taiwan (Chinese Taipei) is the biggest titan of all LLWS titans. South Korea knocked off Taiwan 3-1 in the regional championship game. Ji Hwan Hong reached the 85-pitch limit after throwing 4.2 innings and striking out seven. Jae Hyun Maeng finished off the game with 1.1 scoreless IP.

Albeit a tight final score against Taiwan, that speaks volumes. Also, the proof is in the pudding. South Korea has made seven previous trips to Williamsport. They’ve finished as runner-up twice, and have won three championships (1984, ’85, and 2014).

+950 Mexico to win International Bracket

Similar to what I said about the massive favorite on the American side of the bracket, if you want to blindly bet (because there’s no video that I have access to) on a Little League team from South Korea at -150 to play clean defense, pitch well, and rack up runs, go ahead.

At +950, Mexico to win the International bracket is the best value on the board, no questions asked. Mexico has a historically strong 81-63 all-time record in the Little League World Series. Municipal De Tijuana Little League is heading to Williamsport for the third time. Tijuana played for the title in 2013 and advanced to the International bracket semifinals in 2023.

Municipal De Tijuana Little League is 12-1 in Little League tournament games this summer, outscoring their opponents 101-20. In their lone loss (7-4) against Matamoros, they left the bases loaded twice. Tijuana avenged that loss by pounding Matamoros 8-2 in the Mexico Regional championship game. Jorge Fonseca dealt for Tijuana on the mound. This year’s team doesn’t have any really tall players, but they are all big, physical 10-12 year olds.

Manager Francisco Fimbres is a former minor league baseball player. He was drafted in the 20th Round of the 1989 MLB Draft by the Minnesota Twins.
