Despite whiffing on a knockout prop last week, I’m in on another one this weekend. That’s because I don’t get this line we’re getting on Donte Johnson to finish Eric McConico via knockout on Saturday’s prelims. But I’ll definitely take it.
McConico’s last two losses have come via strikes – that’s enough reason to take this prop bet. But it gets even better when you look at ‘Lockjaw’ Johnson’s resume. He has six knockouts in eight pro fights, even more impressive given that he used to fight at light heavyweight and heavyweight. Now down at middleweight, he’s going to get another KO on Saturday, and we’re going to cash for plus money.
