Portland Fire vs Atlanta Dream

The top team in the WNBA’s Eastern Conference, the Atlanta Dream, has run into a bit of turbulence lately. After cruising into the last days of June on a four-game win streak, the Dream didn’t win a game for two weeks, dropping five straight. However, they seemed to have pulled up the nose, blasting the Seattle Storm by 11 points on Thursday.
It’s amazing what playing a bad team can do for your confidence, which the Storm are. But even worse, in terms of advanced stats, is the Portland Fire, who hit up Hotlanta tomorrow night to face the Dream. The expansion Fire are 3-7 on the road, have dropped four of their last five, and have only won once in their past seven tries away from home.
After crunching the numbers, my line for tomorrow night is Atlanta -15, so I like the Dream on the spread for my best bet for Saturday.
