Indiana Fever vs Phoenix Mercury
Start Time: 7:30 PM EST
We’re at right about the midway point in the WNBA season for most teams, and the Indiana Fever and the Phoenix Mercury are already wrapping up their season series tomorrow night in the desert. The teams split two games in Indianapolis last month, making Wednesday night’s game the rubber match.
Tomorrow is a rare WNBA back-to-back game for the Fever, as they are playing in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. The fact that this is a road back-to-back for Indiana tilts the scales in Phoenix’s favor even more. While under normal circumstances, Indiana is the better team, on paper, when facing Phoenix, this isn’t normal circumstances.
Phoenix will be without top rebounder Natasha Mack, but with do-it-all Alyssa Thomas in action, they should be fine. My line for the game is a Pick ‘Em, so that makes Phoenix plus the points my best bet for Thursday.
