When I saw this game on the schedule for Tuesday, I knew it would be my best bet for the day. The New York Liberty are generally overrated on the spread, and the Dallas Wings are still underrated at this point in the season. It’s the perfect storm.
If you’ve been following along with my daily best bets, you know that the 13-8 Wings are actually a good team this season, after only winning 9 and 10 games in their past two campaigns. The advanced stats like them even more, ranking them as the fourth-best team in the league. This has made them one of my favorite bets this season. Plus, with a 7-5 record on the road, they are almost as strong as a visitor as they are on their home floor.
My line for this matchup in Brooklyn is New York -2.5, making the Wings plus the points my play.
