The Atlanta Dream’s 2026 season has started just like their team moniker states – it’s been a dream. Sitting at 11-4 heading into action on Monday, the Dream is the top team in the WNBA’s Eastern Conference and is tied for the second-best team in the league.

Meanwhile, the Toronto Tempo’s first season in the league has turned into a nightmare. Top draft pick Kiki Rice and the team’s top player, Brittney Sykes, are out of action for a prolonged period of time, and starter Nyara Sabally has been on the sidelines for a couple of weeks and is questionable for tomorrow’s game in Atlanta.

Additionally, these two teams just played last week (with a healthy Sykes), and the Dream won by 25. My line for tomorrow is Atlanta -19, so I’m taking the Dream on the spread as my best bet to kick off the week.
