Minnesota Lynx vs Los Angeles Sparks

One of my favorite plays the past couple of seasons in the WNBA is to fade the Los Angeles Sparks at home. They are a terrible team on their home floor, having won only two of their first seven games in La La Land this season (they were 9-13 last season). Despite this, they continue to get favorable lines at home.

The Minnesota Lynx have not missed a beat this season, despite missing arguably the league’s second-best player, Napheesa Collier, for all their games. Rookie Olivia Miles has more than filled in for the loss of Collier, leading the Lynx to a league-best 11-3 record. Even more important for tomorrow, they are a better road team than at home this season, winning five of six. When Collier gets back on the court, they are going to be a scary proposition for the rest of the league.

My line for tomorrow’s action is Minnesota -14.5, so I’ll be hammering them on the modest spread the books are offering.
