The NBA Playoffs have taken a turn for the worse, at least in terms of my bets the past few days. But things have definitely gotten more interesting out West. Here are your NBA Playoffs predictions and preview for Tuesday, May 26th.
NBA Playoffs Predictions & Preview For Tuesday, May 26th
San Antonio Spurs vs Oklahoma City Thunder
Start Time – 8:30 PM EST
Even the dominant, defending NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder, with unparalleled depth, is not immune to the injury bug that every NBA team seems to fight against in today’s era. And it’s the two most common – and worrisome – injuries that are biting the champs in this series against the San Antonio Spurs – hamstring and calf strains.
Playing without secondary star Jalen Williams is something the Thunder had experience with this year, as he only played 33 games and wasn’t really playing at his usual level anyway. The same can be said, to a lesser extent, for Ajay Mitchell, who missed 25 regular-season games. However, having them both go down this series is proving to be a distinct challenge for the Thunder. Oh, and there’s that Victor Wembanyama guy, too. He’s a distinct challenge as well.
Normally, my line for tomrorow’s Game 5 in OKC would be Oklahoma City -7.5. But I’m adjusting that due to the absences, and I’ll take the Spurs plus the points.
Best Bet: San Antonio +5.5 (-105)
2025/6 Overall Record: 215-173 (56%)
Profit (based on $100/bet): $2,113.04
Return on Investment: 5%
