God, this round of the NHL’s Stanley Cup Playoffs has been rough on my bankroll, and it’s mostly the Colorado Avalanche’s fault. Let’s see if they behave themselves tomorrow. Colorado Avalanche vs Vegas Golden Knights
Start Time: 9:00 PM EST
Asking the Colorado Avalanche to behave themselves tomorrow night means rolling over and playing dead, which they have done through the first three games of this series, because I’m finally on the other side of the Avs with a bet tomorrow (which means they’ll win, surely).
But getting the Vegas Golden Knights, who have thoroughly boat raced the Avalanche in this series, including scoring five straight goals in Game 3 to win 5-3, at home as a dog is too good to pass up. Especially considering Colorado’s superstar Nathan MacKinnon took a puck off the knee on Sunday and will at the very least be less than 100% tomorrow, if he plays at all. The same goes for Avalanche forward Valeri Nichushkin.
So I’m betting on the Golden Knights to dispatch the league’s best teams in four games straight tomorrow night and allow us to cash a plus-money bet.
