Tarleton State Texans vs California Baptist Lancers
Start Time: 11:30 PM EST
If you’re on the East Coast as I am, you’ll have to stay up late for this one, as it has an 11:30 PM EST start time – one of the last games of the day. The #3 ranked California Baptist Lancers and the #6 Tarleton State Texans see their first action in this year’s WAC Tournament on Thursday, and I’m going with the favorite, the Lancers.
California Baptist beat Tarleton State by 20 points when they played a week ago – that’s enough reason right there to pick the Lancers to cover the spread. But that game wasn’t a fluke – they were clearly the better team this season.
The second half of the parlay is a play on the game total. We’re going with under 126.5 points to be scored tomorrow night. When these two teams hooked up on March 6th, they combined for 116. And the Texans are one of the lowest-scoring teams in the whole nation, with the Lancers not being that much better themselves.
