Obi Agbim Higher Than 3.5 Assists
One more time with feeling for an old friend here. Obi Agbim assists have been an Underdog Fantasy favorite, and this could be his last game. Wyoming gets San Jose State in the first round of the Mountain West Conference tournament.
Agbim enters this game averaging 3.5 assists per game this year. He’s gone higher than 3.5 assists in four of his last five games. Agbim faced San Jose State twice this year and went higher than 3.5 assists both times. He racked up four assists on February 22nd, and went for six assists on January 25th.
The San Jose State Spartans allow opponents to average 14.8 assists per game this year. That’s 301st in the nation. San Jose State struggles to defend distributors, and Agbim has shown he can get the job done against the Spartans. Let’s go back into it and take Agbim to go higher than 3.5 assists in today’s action.
Desmond Claude Higher Than 15.5 Points
Everyone and his brother is going to be on Rutgers player projections. However, the projections for Ace Bailey and Dylan Harper are juiced to the sky. The play here is to take USC guard Desmond Claude to go higher than 15.5 points.
Claude faced the Scarlet Knights once this year on February 23rd, and torched them for 30 points. He comes into this one averaging 15.8 points per game. Claude has gone higher than 15.5 points in eight out of 16 conference games played this year.
Rutgers allows opponents to average 76.9 points per game this year. That’s 297th in the nation. We know points will get scored here. The Scarlet Knights also allow opponents to shoot 52.6% from the field. That’s 268th in the nation. Don’t expect a lot of defense to played in this game, and take Desmond Claude to score at least 16 points in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
Sebastian Thomas Higher Than 1.5 Steals
Let’s run it back with Sebastian Thomas against Fordham and take him to go higher than 1.5 steals.
Thomas just played Fordham four days ago and racked up three steals in 38 minutes. He also faced Fordham on February 5th and racked up four steals. Thomas comes into this game averaging 2.1 steals per game. He’s also gone higher than 1.5 steals in six of his last 10 games played.
Fordham doesn’t give up a ton of steals to opponents. They’re 64th in the nation and only give the ball away 7.8 times per game. However, they’re 315th in turnovers per game. The Fordham Rams play loose with the ball, and Thomas should be able to pick a few pockets. Lock up Thomas to get at least two steals in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for March 12th.
