Best Bet For Sunday (February 16th): College Basketball Predictions
NEBRASKA CORNHUSKERS VS NORTHWESTERN WILDCATS
Start Time: 3:00 PM EST
There are a handful of ranked teams in action on Sunday, but none of those lines were exploitable in my eyes. Instead, I’ve zeroed in on a couple of Big Ten also-rans – the Nebraska Cornhuskers visiting the Northwestern Wildcats. The Cornhuskers’ 6-8 Big Ten record has them in the middle of the conference pack, while the Wildcats’ 4-10 conference mark puts them second to last, only better than Penn State.
Yet Northwestern is the squad getting my money tomorrow. The Wildcats are a very strong 11-3 at home, while Nebraska is only 4-5 on the road. Plus the advanced stats have Northwestern and Nebraska pretty much even. My number is Northwestern -1.5, so the Wildcats on the spread is my best bet for Sunday.
