Those damn San Antonio Spurs snapped my NBA best bets unbeaten streak on Saturday, despite Victor Wembanyama’s seven blocks and six three-pointers. I won’t forget this, Spurs. Here’s your NBA predictions & preview for Sunday, November 10th.
NBA Predictions & Preview For Sunday, November 10th
Charlotte Hornets vs Philadelphia 76ers
Start Time – 7:00 PM EST
I don’t get this line, but that’s a good thing. The Philadelphia 76ers are not very good (as their 1-7 record speaks to), and they are—surprise, surprise—injured. Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid are out for Sunday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets, and newly acquired star Paul George is still working himself back into playing shape.
And the Charlotte Hornets aren’t that bad this season, with a league-average defense, which is a big improvement for them. They are also on a two-game winning streak, with both games on the road. Charlotte -4 would be my line, so I’ll gladly take them at +3.5
Best Bets: Charlotte +3.5 (-110)
Miami Heat vs Minnesota Timberwolves
Start Time – 7:00 PM EST
I couldn’t find any other spreads that worked for Sunday’s slate, so I’m finishing things off here with a total. The game total for the Miami Heat vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves—even with Jimmy Butler and Jaime Jaquez Jr. out of action—is too low in my eyes.
Both teams’ average total is in the 220s this season, with Miami’s last game going to 257. Minnesota had a 254 total a couple of games ago. Even with players sitting out, this one’s going over.
Best Bets: Heat/Timberwolves Over 216.5 (-115)
Overall Record: 10-5 (67%)
Profit (based on $100/bet): $434.64
Return on Investment: 29%
