California Golden Bears vs Wake Forest Demon Deacons
Start Time – 8:00 PM EST
A couple of 4-4 teams meet up tomorrow in North Carolina, the difference being the California Golden Bears are 0-4 in the ACC, and the Wake Forest Demon Deacons are 2-2. Yet, despite this and despite playing a weaker schedule than the Demon Deacons AND being on the road tomorrow, Cal is a 7.5-point favorite.
So I’m obviously in on Wake Forest plus the points, as is the rest of the SGPN team. The Demon Deacons have won back-to-back games – both on the road. And Cal is only 1-2 away from home, with both losses being in conference games. Plus, the trek from Berkeley to Winston-Salem is a big one. I have this line pegged at California -3.5, so I’m definitely in on Wake Forest +7.5.
