Steven Crowl Higher Than 7.5 Rebounds

Wisconsin center Steven Crowl racked up eight rebounds in the season opener against Holy Cross.

Crowl averaged 7.3 rebounds per game last year, but he managed to go higher than 7.5 rebounds in 17 of 36 games played, including six out of eight in the non-conference schedule.

Montana State doesn’t have a seven-footer on the roster, and Crowl only played fewer than 20 minutes four times last year. He should tower over everyone in the paint, and get plenty of opportunities to compile his way to eight rebounds. It wouldn’t be a complete shock to see Crowl end up with a double-double.

Max Klesmit Lower Than 19.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists

One of the favorite fades from last season is back this year. Max Klesmit averaged 9.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.9 assists last year, but books consistently put his Points+Rebounds+Assists in the low-20s and high teens.

In 36 games last year, Klesmit only managed 20 PRA 10 times and only once in the non-conference slate. He’s a solid part of the Wisconsin back court, but he doesn’t figure into assists or rebounds, and he’s typically a second or third option on offense.

Klesmit will be out there for more than 20 minutes, but he won’t score, rebound, or pass enough to eclipse 20 PRA against Montana State. Make sure you’re going under on his 19.5 PRA total in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for November 7th.

John Blackwell Higher Than 0.5 3-Pointers Made

Wisconsin guard John Blackwell went 2-for-4 behind the arc against Holy Cross in the season opener.

He played 30 minutes in the first game, up from his average of 18.5 minutes last year. Blackwell’s usage is up and it looks like we have a square number to play here.

In games that Blackwell played at least 20 minutes during the 2023-24 season, he made at least one three-pointer in 10 out of 12 games. He’s a key rotation piece now, and should see 25 minutes or more against Montana State. Look for Blackwell to get at least one three-ball while he’s out there and help you to an easy cash in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for November 7.
