If told you that the Panthers would have more wins than the Bengals entering Week 4 you would have told me to get drug tested. But here we are entering Week 4 with an 0-3 Bengals team and the Panthers getting their first victory on the season in Week 3 led by Andy Dalton. It is going to be a very tough and tall hill to climb for the Bengals to even have a chance to make the playoffs. Meanwhile, the confidence of the Panthers is high right now after winning a game. Below are my Cincinnati Bengals and Carolina Panthers previews and predictions.
As we enter Week 4 there are injury concerns for the Carolina Panthers for this game. First, the Panthers will be without veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen who is dealing with a hamstring injury. Thielen suffered the injury on a touchdown catch last week against the Raiders. Additionally, Diontae Johnson is dealing with a groin injury but he did say on Thursday he will be playing this week.
We know the narrative in this game, Andy Dalton against his former team, the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals are dealing with their issues more so on the defensive side. In Week 3 on Monday Night Football, the Bengals defense could get off the field and Jayden Daniels sliced and diced the defense up. Will the Bengals be able to figure it out on defense and get their first win of the season?
Bengals at Panthers Preview AND Predictions

The Carolina Panthers looked like a completely different team with Andy Dalton at under center. The Panthers scored a touchdown on their first possession of the game against the Raiders. The Panthers were able to get everyone involved in the offense and made easy work of the Raiders. It doesn’t seem like things will get more difficult entering Week 4. As I mentioned above, the Bengals’ defense has been abysmal to start the season. I will be curious to see the adjustments if any the Bengals’ defense makes in the game.
I do expect the Bengals offense to continue having success. Despite playing from behind for most of the game last week, Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase had big weeks. Additionally, the Bengals got Tee Higgins back in the lineup to bolster the offense. I do expect to see points in this game between these two offenses until the Bengals defense proves me otherwise.
