Best Bet For Friday (August 23rd): MMA Predictions

PFL Playoffs: Tyler Diamond vs Enrique BArzola

Start Time – 7:30 PM EST

Tyler Diamond is one of the more underrated fighters in all of the PFL. Despite winning a pair of regular season fights, he came up short of a playoff spot. However, he’s shown that he can hang with the best of them. His wrestling in particular has shown to be a game changer. It’s allowed him to hang in there with other high level grapplers. When on the Ultimate Fighter, he used it to beat ranked UFC featherweight Bryce Mitchell and recently grinded his way to a decision over UFC veteran Brett Johns.

His opponent for Friday is Enrique Barzola, who I think is actually a step down from Johns. He has lost back-to-back fights against guys who a similar style and gameplan as Diamond. I think this is a great spot to get in on an underdog with tremendous value.
