Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – April 12
Jarrett Allen – Lower than 17.5 Points
On April 10th I wrote about the stakes of the Cleveland game and how that would lead to Donovan Mitchell having a big game. It came to fruition as he took over the offense and beat his projection by 8.5 points. However, those points have to come from somewhere and Jarrett Allen seems to be on the losing end.
He finished under his season average for the second time in two games. While the Pacers typically have high scoring games, they also have decent inside defense. Look for the Cavaliers’ guards to feast and Allen to come in low.
Jalen Williams – Higher than 4.5 Rebounds
Williams has gone for at least four rebounds in each of his last five games. That includes beating this projection in three of his last five games. If that’s not enough reason to look at the ‘Higher than’, then consider that the Bucks are in the bottom half of the league in opponents’ rebounds.
Jimmy Butler – Higher than 20.5 Points
The Heat have something to play for on Friday – the Raptors do not. As a result, we have a situation where some of the guys on the Heat are going to rack up a bunch of stats while beating up Toronto reserves. Jimmy Butler should be the recipient of many of those points. However, even if it wasn’t an good matchup, he’s gone over this projection in three of his last four.
