Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – April 10
Donovan Mitchell – Higher than 20.5 Points
I know there is concern about the games he’s missed and time away, but this is a game where the Cavaliers need a big performance from one of their stars. He’s been cleared for Wednesday’s action. With Cleveland just barely holding on to a spot outside of the play-in tournament, I think Mitchell is going to take a bit more of the load than usual. With a season scoring average at 26.4, even a banged up Mitchell should be enough to get 21.
Luka Doncic – Lower than 30.5 Points
In the last two games, Luka has been pouring it in for the Mavericks. He has 39 and 37 over the last two, respectively. However, I’m looking at the ‘Lower than’ here because of the magnitude of this game.
Doncic’s last two performances propelled Dallas to a comfortable spot in the standings. They are three games clear of the play-in with three to play. If there was a game to take it easy, it would be this one.
Nikola Jokic – Higher than 49.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
We’ll stick with the theme of looking for meaningful games here. Jokic and the Nuggets enter this game tied with the Timberwolves for the top spot in the West. The winner of this is likely going to end with home court advantage in the playoffs. Even though he’s come up short of this projection in three straight, I like him to step up here and put up some wild totals.
