Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – December 28
Patrick Williams – Lower than 5.0 Rebounds
You would think that having Nikola Vucevic off of the court would give Williams a chance to get on the glass a bit more. The opposite seems to be true. Andre Drummond went off for some insane numbers on Tuesday, and left Williams with just one board. It’s looking to be more of the same on Thursday.
Cade Cunningham – Higher than 23.5 Points
We rode this number on Tuesday, which was only one point lower at the time. Then Cunningham proceeded to go off for 41 points against Brooklyn. The Pistons haven’t been good. In fact, they’ve been historically bad. However, someone still needs to score the rock on that team. The Celtics are good on defense, but have given up 114 per game over their last three. There should be 24 in there somewhere for Cunningham.
Anfernee Simons – Higher than 27.5 Points
Simons has become one of the better scorers on a not so great Portland team. They’re been bad at scoring all year though – currently 29th in the league. Those numbers have ticked up as late thanks to 117.7 points per game oveer the last three. The Spurs are woeful in preventing points. They’re 28th in the league with 123.2 per game on the year and it’s been worse in the last three games – 129.3 per game. Simons should get ample opportunity to score here.
