2023/24 Fantasy Basketball Center Rankings

1 Nikola Jokic (DEN – C)
2 Joel Embiid (PHI – C)
3 Anthony Davis (LAL – PF,C)
4 Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIL – PF,C)

The superstar tier. Anthony Davis is the only non-NBA MVP in this batch. Obviously, injuries are a concern for all these guys outside of Nikola Jokic. Now that I’ve put that out in the world…

5 Jaren Jackson Jr. (MEM – PF,C)
6 Domantas Sabonis (SAC – PF,C)
7 Bam Adebayo (MIA – C)
8 Myles Turner (IND – C)
9 Karl-Anthony Towns (MIN – C,PF)
10 Victor Wembanyama (SAS – C,PF)
11 Nikola Vucevic (CHI – C)
12 Kristaps Porzingis (BOS – PF,C)
13 Walker Kessler (UTH – C)
14 Deandre Ayton (POR – C)

The top 5-10 range for centers (on most mock drafts) appears in our second tier. As mentioned on our forward rankings, Jaren Jackson Jr.’s value drops if your league takes fouls into account. And there’s the rookie – Victor Wembanyama. Will he play the full season? Will he be fully unleashed and allowed to utilize all of his tools this season?

15 Evan Mobley (CLE – C,PF)
16 Pascal Siakam (TOR – PF,C)
17 Jarrett Allen (CLE – C)
18 Alperen Sengun (HOU – C)
19 Chet Holmgren (OKC – C,PF)
20 Brook Lopez (MIL – C)
21 Nic Claxton (BKN – C)
22 Zion Williamson (NOR – PF,C)
23 Rudy Gobert (MIN – C)
24 Jakob Poeltl (TOR – C)
25 Clint Capela (ATL – C)
26 Onyeka Okongwu (ATL – C)

At least statistically, which is all that matters in fantasy basketball, Evan Mobley didn’t really make a jump in his sophomore season. Pascal Siakam is a very underrated option at the center position. And there’s the other touted rookie – Chet Holmgren. Injuries are always going to be a concern with him, but his potential – especially defensively – is off the charts.

27 Robert Williams III (POR – C)
28 Mitchell Robinson (NYK – C)
29 Jonas Valanciunas (NOR – C)
30 Jusuf Nurkic (PHO – C)

The last few. New homes for Robert Williams III and Jusuf Nurkic make them question marks in fantasy. Will they have bigger roles (Williams) or lesser ones (Nurkic) than in seasons past?
