Anaheim Ducks vs Vancouver Canucks
Start Time: 9:00 PM EST
I didn’t make the Anaheim Ducks vs the Vancouver Canucks my best bet for tomorrow just because their team names rhyme, but it certainly doesn’t hurt. No, this is the best play because the Canucks are a crummy hockey team, and the moneyline for this game doesn’t really reflect that.
The Ducks and Canucks (see, it’s fun that it rhymes) have already met this season, when Vancouver, trailing 5-2, stormed back in the third period to tie the game and eventually win it in overtime. That game was Vancouver’s only win in their last 13 games (1-11-1), and they’ve lost five straight games on their home ice at Rogers Arena.
Anaheim is better on offense, better on defense, and a better road team (4-3-0) than Vancouver is at home (1-6-0, worst in the NHL). Plus, the Ducks should have revenge on their minds after the debacle the last time they played the Canucks.
Anaheim on the moneyline is my best bet for Tuesday.
