Detroit Pistons vs New York Knicks
Start Time – 4:00 PM EST
It’s unreasonable to expect the reigning NBA Champions to field a dominant team in the summer time as well – most championship teams are stocked with veterans, not summer league level players. But this New York Knicks squad is taking that to the extreme.
The Knicks have been outscored by 23.5 points over their first two games in Las Vegas, both losses (shock). While the Detroit Pistons are also fielding a roster of “who’s that?” players, they’ve at least won a game, and have a +0.5 point differential in their two games in the desert thus far.
Best Bet: Detroit -7.5 (-110)
Miami Heat vs Cleveland Cavaliers
Start Time – 8:00 PM EST
We’ll stick with another Eastern Conference matchup between two teams not among the seven undefeated squads mentioned above. While the Miami Heat are 1-1 in Vegas, they have still been one of the strongest teams, with a +14 point differential.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are at the opposite end of the spectrum, going 0-2 and have been outscored by 7.5 points. Let’s go with the Heat plus the points on Monday.
