UFC Fight Night: Du Plessis vs Usman (aka UFC Oklahoma City)
Main Card Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
Two former UFC champions collide in Saturday’s main event, with the 12th welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman, who reigned from 2019 to 2021, facing the 15th middleweight champion, Dricus du Plessis, who was champ in 2024 and 2025.
I’m going to be an ageist in this one and go with the younger man, the 32-year-old DDP, to best the 39-year-old Usman. Not only is Usman pushing 40, but he notoriously has bad knees and has won one fight in the past five years.
On top of this, du Plessis is such a weird fighter that any matchup with him is difficult. Plus, the South African should have the physicality and athleticism advantages at 185 pounds.
