And what’s more American than Texas, right?! We’ll kick things off in Arlington, where the Texas Rangers are hosting the disappointing Detroit Tigers.

I’m going with a Rangers player to hit a long ball tomorrow, and it should come as no surprise that player is the team’s leader in homers this season, Joc Pederson. Pederson has taken tomorrow’s starter, Jack Flaherty, yard three times in 22 career at-bats.

Philadelphia Phillies vs Kansas City Royals

Start Time: 8:10 PM EST

Now we’re off to the Midwest, with the Kansas City Royals hosting the Philadelphia Phillies in an interleague game. I’m in on a Phillies slugger for my pick, and like Pederson, it’s not a surprise choice.

The Phillies’ Kyle Schwarber already has 30 homers this season, the best in the majors. And there’s a good chance he adds to that lead tomorrow, as he has four career homers against the Royals’ Michael Wacha.
