NBA Summer League Predictions & Preview for Saturday, July 4th
Milwaukee Bucks vs Golden State Warriors Blue
Start Time – 3:00 PM EST
We’ll start things off in Cowtown, as the Sacramento portion of the California Classic tips off this afternoon. The “Gold” version of the Golden State Warriors came through for me yesterday in the Bay; now the “Blue” roster gets their first taste of action tomorrow.
This Blue team isn’t as strong as the Gold, however, and I’m going with the Milwaukee Bucks in this matchup. The Bucks have #10 pick Brayden Burries on the roster, along with plenty of NBA veterans
Best Bet: Milwaukee -1.5 (-110)
Brooklyn Nets vs Sacramento Kings
Start Time – 5:00 PM EST
We’re actually going to stick around Sactown for the second game – you’re on your own for picks for the Utah league. This game between the Brooklyn Nets and the Sacramento Kings features a showdown between the #6 pick in this year’s draft, the Nets Mikel Brown Jr, and the #7 pick, the Kings Darius Acuff Jr.
The Nets are stacked, with four of their rookies from last season – Danny Wolf, Drake Powell, Egor Demin, and Ben Saraf – also appearing on their roster. The Nets are my pick.
Best Bet: Brooklyn +2.5 (-110)
