Kansas City Royals vs Washington Nationals

Start Time: 6:45 PM EST

We’ll start with some interleague action in the nation’s capital, as the struggling Kansas City Royals visit the Washington Nationals. And I know who’s going to homer for the home side.

And it’s not an obvious choice. I’m going with first baseman Luis Garcia Jr, who has maxed out at 18 dingers in a season. However, he’s gone yard twice in the past five games and has a homer in only five career at-bats against tomorrow’s starter, Michael Wacha.

Best Bet: Luis Garcia Jr. (+425)

Chicago White Sox vs New York Yankees

Start Time: 7:05 PM EST

My second choice is a guy known to go yard a bit more than Garcia Jr, and has even won an MVP award. That would be the New York Yankees, Cody Bellinger.

Bellinger only has 10 ding-dongs this season, but I like his chances getting to 11 on Tuesday against Chicago White Sox starter Davis Martin. Bellinger has a homer in three career at-bats against Martin and a 2.467 OPS.
