The New York Knicks on the spread was definitely the right play for Game 2, meaning I finally snapped my skid and cashed another winning bet. I’m still up money for the playoffs, and up huge for the season as a whole. All is good. Here are your NBA Finals predictions and preview for Monday, June 8th.

NBA Finals Game 2 Predictions & Preview For Monday, June 8th

San Antonio Spurs vs New York Knicks

Start Time – 8:30 PM EST

Maybe an extra day off will help (although they had to travel across the country), because the San Antonio Spurs Victor Wembanyama is a visibly worn-out player out there on the court. Even a less-than-100% Wemby is an asset, but the Spurs have shown they need the young Frenchman to go supernova to have any hope of beating the seemingly unstoppable New York Knicks.

Will the Knicks ever lose a game again? They’ve now reeled off 13 straight wins and are undefeated since April 23rd. And outside of their one-point Game 2 win over the Spurs, they aren’t just winning – they are blowing out their opponents.

If I went with my normal numbers, I’d line Game 3 up as New York -1.5, which is right around where the official line is at. But the Knicks are making the numbers irrelevant. I’ll take New York on the spread on Monday.

Best Bet: New York -2 (-112)

2025/6 Overall Record: 216-178 (56%)
Profit (based on $100/bet): $1,701.54
Return on Investment: 4%
