Best Bet For Friday (June 5th): WNBA Predictions

Dallas Wings vs Los Angeles Sparks

Start Time: 10:00 PM EST

Probably the #1 team contributing to my windfall on the WNBA hardwood this season would be the Dallas Wings. After two horrendous seasons (which netted them Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd with the #1 overall pick in back-to-back drafts), the 6-3 Wings are now one of the league’s best teams in the early goings of this season.

And the Wings get a good matchup tomorrow night against the Los Angeles Sparks, despite it being a road game. In fact, part of the reason this is an advantageous matchup is because it’s a road game. The Sparks are not a good home team, for some reason, going 1-4 at crypto.com Arena this season after going 9-13 in front of their home fans last year. And the Wings are 3-1 on the road this year.

Plus, Sparks’ star and the league’s leading scorer, Kelsey Plum, is questionable for the game as she continues to recover from an ankle injury.

My line is Dallas -12, so I’m going with the Wings on the spread.
