Toronto Tempo vs Los Angeles Sparks

Is the expansion Toronto Tempo going to continue the trend of WNBA franchises making the playoffs in their first season in the league, as the Golden State Valkyries did last season? Some experts think the veteran-laden roster has the makings of a possible playoff team.
And it’s been a pretty good showing for the Tempo thus far, splitting their first two games and currently rating more than three points per game better than an “average team”, based on advanced stats. But it’s a small sample size, obviously.
Still, I’m going to take a flyer on Toronto on the road tomorrow night against the Sparks in Los Angeles. Not only have the Sparks dropped both of their games this season, but they both were on their home floor. And this is a pattern of theirs, as they were a bad home team last season, as well (and the season before that, actually).
