The NBA’s Eastern Conference Second Round series between the top-seeded Detroit Pistons and the Cleveland Cavaliers moves to the Mistake on the Lake tomorrow night for Game 3, with the Cavs proving no match for the East’s top squad in the first two games in Motown.
Do I expect that to change in Cleveland, with a team led by playoff underachievers Donovan Mitchell and James Harden? Probably not. But the Cavs could squeak out a close one. My line is Cleveland -1, so I’m taking the Pistons plus the points.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs Los Angeles Lakers
Start Time – 8:30 PM EST
Things are dire in La La Land, as well, as the Los Angeles Lakers arrive home for Game 3 down two games to none to the defending NBA Champions, the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Lake Show got crushed in Oklahoma City, with the Thunder winning both games by 18 points.
No, Luka Doncic is not coming through that door, so the change of scenery isn’t going to make a difference. My line is Oklahoma City -9, so I’m taking the champs on the spread.
