Colorado Avalanche vs Minnesota Wild
Start Time: 9:00 PM EST
Similar to the Carolina Hurricanes in the Eastern Conference, the Colorado Avalanche have shown the world why they are the favorites to win the Western Conference Playoffs and head to the Stanley Cup Finals (to likely face the Hurricanes).
After a wild 9-6 win in Game 1, the Avalanche put the boots to the Wild again in Denver in Game 2, winning by three goals once again, this time 5-2. The possessors of the best offense in the league this season (as well as goals allowed), Colorado is rolling.
And I don’t think the change in venue to the Twin Cities is going to change that. Not only does Colorado have the world’s best offense and defense, but they are also the best road team in the league, going 29-7-5 away from home in the regular season, and a perfect 2-0 in the playoffs thus far.
The Avalanche will continue to roll downhill and is my best bet on the moneyline for Saturday.
