Cleveland Cavaliers vs Detroit Pistons
Start Time – 7:00 PM EST
The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Detroit Pistons both seriously disappointed and underperformed in their respective first-round series, but they both survived, and now one of them will at least advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.
Maybe that was the adversity the young Pistons needed to get under their belts, and they’ll be better for it going forward. My line for tomorrow’s Game 1 is Detroit -7.5, so the Pistons will win and cover at home.
Best Bet: Detroit -3 (-110)
Los Angeles Lakers vs Oklahoma City Thunder
Start Time – 8:30 PM EST
The undermanned Los Angeles Lakers were given plenty of gifts from the Houston Rockets in the first round to help them surprisingly advance. But the time for charity is over, as the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder will take no pity on LeBron and company.
Even with Luka Doncic playing (which he isn’t anytime soon), the Thunder would be heavy favorites in this game and this series. As it is, my line is Oklahoma City -17.5, so like the Pistons, the Thunder will win and cover at home.
Best Bet: Oklahoma City -15.5 (-104)
