MMA Regional Pick of the Week: ONE Friday Fights 152
ONE Friday Fights Lightweight Fight: Go Todoroki vs Slimen Hassaini

Squeezed in the middle of this Muay Thai card is a MMA fight between a couple of really fun prospects. While nobody expected any MMA here, not only should we get a fun fight, but we’ve got a playable line as well.
Slimen Hassaini is a Belgian prospect with a lot of promise. He comes to ONE by way of UAE Warriors, where he’s been dealing with both tough Eastern European wrestlers and quality regional competition. In those fights, he not only survived the grappling exchanged, but he excelled in them. Twice in his UAE Warriors career, he’s picked up heel hook victories and showed just how dangerous he can be on the mats.
Go Todoroki is not nearly as tested as Hassaini. Despite having more fights on his record, the level of competition that he’s been fed in Shooto has not been as tough. As a result, I think he’s unproven on the mat and should struggle with the submission game of the Belgian.
