Daily NBA Player Props – April 30th
Jayson Tatum – Over 42.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115)
We’ve been riding the PRA for Tatum all series, and we’re going to do it again here. Last game, he had a rough day shooting – putting up just 24 points. However, he easily covered his missing stats there with a 16 rebound game. That’s been the case since he’s returned from injury – when one stat drops, he picks up the slack elsewhere. With Joel Embiid still banged up and always questionable, I expect his rebounds should be able to keep us within reach on this line.
Nikola Jokic – Over 10.5 Assists (+106)
In the five previous games of this series, Jokic is only 2-3 against this line. Although that’s not great, I’m banking on the Nuggets realizing the same thing that I have – as his assists go, so does Denver. He’s averaging 13.5 assists in games that they’ve won and just 6.7 in games that they’ve lost. With the loss of Donte DiVincenzo and Anthony Edwards – and with Rudy Gobert still playing defense in the middle – Jokic should take a distributor role on Thursday.
Ayo Dosunmu – Over 19.5 Points (-110)
Don’t look now, but Dosunmu has actually turned into a very critical piece for the Timberwolves if they want to advance. Not only is he a remaining scoring option with the aforementioned injuries, but he’s been racking those numbers up prior. He’s put up 28.7 points per game in the last three games of the series. He should see a volume bump in Game 6 as well.
