NBA Playoffs Predictions & Preview For Tuesday, April 28th

Atlanta Hawks vs New York Knicks

Start Time – 8:00 PM EST

The back-and-forth Eastern Conference First Round series between the Atlanta Hawks and the New York Knicks heads back to Gotham for Game 5 tomorrow night, after a dominant Game 4 win on the road by the Knicks knotted the series at two games apiece.

The Knicks are very tough to beat at Madison Square Garden this season, going 30-10 there during the regular season. While the Hawks stole one at MSG this series, the odds are against them taking another. My line for tomorrow is New York -7.5, so I’ll take the Knicks to cover.

Best Bet: New York -6.5 (-108)

Portland Trail Blazers vs San Antonio Spurs

Start Time – 9:30 PM EST

Oh, what could have been for the Portland Trail Blazers. They were taking it to the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 in Portland, and then the second half happened.

With Victor Wembanyama back and badder than ever, I expect the Spurs to wrap things up tomorrow night in front of their home fans. My line is San Antonio -13, so the Spurs will cover the spread.

Best Bet: San Antonio -11.5 (-115)

2025/6 Overall Record: 189-158 (54%)
Profit (based on $100/bet): $1,229.63
Return on Investment: 4%
