Best Bet For Tuesday (April 28th): NHL Playoffs Predictions
Boston Bruins vs Buffalo Sabres
Start Time: 7:30 PM EST
There were some doubts heading into this Eastern Conference First Round series as to whether or not the top-seeded Buffalo Sabres were up to the task. But that was based more on the names on the fronts of the two teams’ jerseys rather than the names on the backs. Now the Sabres are one win away from advancing in the playoffs for the first time since 2007.
And they get to take a crack at it on home ice in Game 5, which is great news for the Sabres since they are one of the strongest home teams this season. Despite stealing Game 2 in Buffalo, the Bruins are not a good road team this year, and the odds that they get a second win on enemy turf are slim. Especially after getting thrashed by the Sabres 6-1 in Game 4 in Boston.
The better team playing at home, the Sabres on the moneyline is my best bet for Tuesday.
