Detroit Pistons vs Orlando Magic
Start Time – 8:00 PM EST
I figured the Detroit Pistons needed another playmaker/scorer before they became a legitimate NBA Championship contender, but in no way did I expect them to be getting their asses handed to them by the Orlando Magic in the first round.
The Pistons were one of the best road teams in the NBA this season, so I think they can get one tomorrow night on enemy turf, then head back to the Motor City all tied up. Detroit on the spread, it is.
Best Bet: Detroit -2.5 (-120)
Oklahoma City Thunder vs Phoenix Suns
Start Time – 9:30 PM EST
Not surprisingly, my Phoenix Suns are on the brink of being swept out of the first round of the playoffs by the defending NBA Champion Oklahoma City Thunder. It’ll take much more than the absence of Jalen Williams to give the Suns a chance in this series.
However, I do like the Suns’ chances at covering the spread tomorrow night at home, in what will probably be the last game of their season. My line is Oklahoma City -5, so I’m taking the Suns plus the points.
Best Bet: Phoenix +11.5 (-120)
