UFC Fight Night: Sterling vs Zalal (aka UFC Vegas 116) is the rare APEX card with a former UFC champ fighting on it. For my MMA Underdog Pick of the Week: UFC Vegas 116, I’ve got a live dog near the top of the card. Let’s get it on, c’mon!

UFC Fight Night: Sterling vs Zalal (aka UFC Vegas 116)
Start Time: 5:00 PM EST
Third from the top on Saturday night is a very interesting lightweight bout between Rafa Garcia and Alexander Hernandez. Both UFC veterans are on nice runs, with Garcia winning two straight and four of five, and Hernandez going undefeated in his past four.
I’m going with the dog (obviously), Garcia, in this one. ‘Gifted’ Garcia is the better grappler in this matchup, and can also hang on the feet with Hernandez, albeit with less power, but with more durability. Overall, the Mexican fighter has the better all-around game, which I feel makes him a live dog worth a sprinkle.
