New Orleans Pelicans vs Memphis Grizzlies
Start Time – 9:00 PM EST
There will be no Ja Morant on the court for the Memphis Grizzlies tomorrow night when they host the New Orleans Pelicans, but is this a bad thing for the home side? The Grizzlies are 11-11 with Morant this season, 7-13 when he suits up.
I was going with the Grizzlies in this spot regardless, but I guess it’s an even better play now with no Ja. My number is Memphis -8.5, so the Grizzlies on the spread is the move.
Best Bet: Memphis -4.5 (-110)
Denver Nuggets vs Milwaukee Bucks
Start Time – 9:30 PM EST
This matchup would normally be one to keep an eye on, except Nikola Jokic is still on the sidelines for the Denver Nuggets, and the Milwaukee Bucks suck. But Giannis is still committed to staying in town, right?! There will be no passive-aggressive quotes from him at all, nope.
Even taking into account the home court advantage for the Bucks, the road back-to-back for the Nuggets, and no Jokic, I’m still backing the Nuggets in this spot. That’s how bad things are in Milwaukee.
