Daily NBA Player Props – January 22nd
Anthony Black – Over 4.5 Assists (-105)
Anthony Black has been all over the assists game since Jalen Suggs went down with an injury. In seven of the last nine games, he’s come out with at least five assists. Additionally, he’s gone for at least six in each of the last three games. Black and Orlando will face the Hornets on Thursday, who are a below average defensive team. That should give Black all the chances he needs to go get his dimes.
Jalen Smith – Over 7.5 Rebounds (-113)
Jalen Smith keeps blowing these lines out of the water and they keep listing them in the same spot. He’s hit this mark in six straught games and in ten of his last 12. On Tuesday, he hit the over during the first half of the game. While Josh Giddey’s imminent return may possibly take place on Thursday, I imagine he’ll be on a minutes restriction for the first game or two. That should afford him enough chances to put up another eight boards here.
Cooper Flagg – Over 19.5 Points (-104)
Cooper Flagg has not exactly been killing this number as of late, but he does have a great matchup here. He’s finally back to full health and will get a game against the Warriors, who have been struggle on defense lately. They allowed 145 points in regulation on Tuesday and are up to 124.3 per game over the last three games. Flagg torched them for 27 points just last month, and I think he should duplicate those efforts here.
