Cleveland Cavaliers vs New York Knicks
Start Time – 12:00 PM EST
Scrooge or The Grinch must have set the lines for Christmas Day, because they are tight. But I’ve found a couple of winning spots for us. The first play comes from the early game of the day, as perennial Eastern Conference powerhouses, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the New York Knicks, lock horns.
Except the Cavs haven’t kept up their end of the ‘powerhouse’ bargain this year. Plus, there will still be no Evan Mobley appearances on the court tomorrow for the visitors. My line is New York -8, but that’s with Mobley playing, so I like the Knicks on the spread.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs Denver Nuggets
Start Time – 10:30 PM EST
We head from the early game to the late one, with the Minnesota Timberwolves traveling up to Denver to face the Nuggets. Both teams are in the thick of it at the top of the ultra-competitive Western Conference standings.
Despite being banged up, you’ve got to go with the Nuggets at home. My line is Denver -7.5, so the Nuggets are the play.
