Daily NBA Player Props – December 25th
Cooper Flagg – Over 19.5 Points (-125)
While Golden State might be on of the best defensive teams in the league, this points total seems comically low for Flagg. He’s coming off a game with Denver where he lit them up for 33 points. In the last 11 games, he’s been over 30 points the same amount of times he’s been under 20. He’s posting a 24.1 points per game average this month and is 7-3 against this line. Give him the bright lights of his first Christmas Day game and I expect to see some big things.
Sam Merrill – Over 11.5 Points (-103)
Merrill may not be the name many are targetting on Chrismas Day, but he has been pretty consistent with his scoring. He’s 7-3 against this prop in his last ten games and is pretty consistently shooting between six and ten three-pointers. The Knicks currently rank 25th in the league allowing 14.5 three-pointers per game. Fresh off a game where he sunk six from downtown, I like Merrill’s chances of getting on the board with a dozen points here.
Donte DiVincenzo – Over 3.5 Three-Pointers (+143)
Over the last three games, Denver has been allowing 14.7 three-pointers per game. That’s bound to help out someone on the Timeberwolves, and why not DiVincenzo? He’s had at least four three-pointers in three of his last four games and four of his last six games. On the season he’s 14-11 against this line, which is about as good as you can get with a +143 line here.
