Toronto Maple Leafs vs Pittsburgh Penguins
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
The Toronto Maple Leafs make their first trip of the season to The Steel City on Saturday, having beaten the Pittsburgh Penguins at home earlier this month. These are a couple of teams that have seen a drastic change in their fates this season compared to last, with one for the better and the other for the worse.
The Leafs are the ones worse off, with a 10-10-3 record heading into action on Friday night. This isn’t the start to the year that a team projected for 99.5 points expected to have. Plus, Toronto is missing its top scorer, William Nylander, due to illness on Friday night, and it’s unknown if he’ll be available on Saturday night.
Pittsburgh, meanwhile, is humming along with an 11-6-5 record after being expected to be a poor team again this year. Despite all of this, the Penguins are still the dog tomorrow night at home. I’ll gladly grab Pittsburgh as a live home dog on the moneyline for my best bet for Saturday.
